KERALA KAVYAKALA SAHITHY 36TH ANNUAL FUNCTION AND AWARD FESTIVEL











The 36th annual function of the Kerala Kavyakala Sahithy was held on 26th February, 2016 at Karickom SDAHSS, one of ancient and famous school in Kerala. Dr. Abraham Karickom, Secretary General of the URI Asia Region inaugurated the annual function. Prof. John Kurakar, President of the Kerla Kavya Kala Sahithy presided. Mrs. Geetha, Chair person of the Kottarakara Muncipality,Dr. N.N Murali, Rtd DMO, Mr. P.John Kutty, DYSP of Police, Mr. Neelaswaram Sadasivan. Mr. G Balakrishnan Nair,  Dr.T.I John ,Principal,SDAHSS,,Mr. Sarasan Kottarakara, Advocate Sajan Koshy, Mr. Suresh kumar, Mr. Saji Cheroor, Mr. K.K Joy were spoke on the occasion.

Kerla Kavyakala Sahithy honored to Mr. Sarasan Kottarkara, the social Artist for his dedicated work in the field of Art and Culture. Mr. John Kutty,DYSP distributed 100 merit awards to the winners of the competitive examinations conducted by Kala Sahithy.The Annual Award Mela  concluded at 3.50 P.M with vote thanks.

URI NATIONAL ASSEMBLIES The first National Assembly   of the URI was at   the Mar Thoma Orientation Centre, Kerala as early as 2004, which was inaugurated by the longest living bishop in the world, Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom.The second National Assembly was again at the Mar Thoma Shanthigiri Ashram, Alwaye in 2007, in conjunction with the second International Holy Books conference. All the pioneers of the Interfaith Movement in India attended this Assembly viz. Swami Agnivesh, Justice Shamsuddin, Fr. Nambiar Parambil, Bishop Zacharias, Homi Dalla, Madam Meher Master Moos, Swami Chaturvedi, Dr. Mohinder Singh, Vijay Bhatkar and so on. The third was organised by Biswadebji at Santhiniketan, West Bengal, the World famous University established by Tagore, the first Asian to win a Nobel Prize.
