INTER FAITH NOVEL SEMINAR

Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy conducted a Interfaith Novel Seminar on “Super souls revisited” by Dr. Abraham Karickom  on 11th August, 2012 at Kottarakara Kurakar  Town Center under the auspicious of United Religion Initiative, Kerala Palliative Care Initiative and Desiya Kavith Vedi. The Novel Seminar was begun at 2.30 pm with a silent prayer. Prof. John Kurakar, President, Kerala Kavya KalaSahithy, welcomed the members .Prof. Siva Prasad , Film Director, Prof. Jiji Joseph, Mr. Jiji. P. Mathew were presented the paper related to the “Super Souls Revisited”
Discussion was began at 3.30 pm. Rev. Fr.O.Thomas, Rev. Fr. Alex Parankimammoottil, Dr.M.K.P Roy, Captain Aliyas, Mr. Baby Venniyoor, Mr. Kudavattoor Viswan were actively participated in the discussion. After the Evening tea Kaviyarangu was began at 4.30 pm. Mr. Neelaswaram Sadasivan, Vice President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy presided. Poet Aduthala Jayaprakash inaugurated the Kaviyarngu. Mr. Ajyan Kottara, Mr. Abraham Koipally,, Mr. G. Vikraman Pillai, Mr. Mannadi Chanakyan,, Mr Ponnappan Pillai, Mrs Kanaka letha, Mr, Vettickavala B. Sudharma, Mr. Thazvara Gopi were presented their own poems in the Kaviyarangu. Mr. Sajan Koshy expressed vote of thanks. The function concluded at 6.30 pm with a photo session.

URI NATIONAL ASSEMBLIES The first National Assembly   of the URI was at   the Mar Thoma Orientation Centre, Kerala as early as 2004, which was inaugurated by the longest living bishop in the world, Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom.The second National Assembly was again at the Mar Thoma Shanthigiri Ashram, Alwaye in 2007, in conjunction with the second International Holy Books conference. All the pioneers of the Interfaith Movement in India attended this Assembly viz. Swami Agnivesh, Justice Shamsuddin, Fr. Nambiar Parambil, Bishop Zacharias, Homi Dalla, Madam Meher Master Moos, Swami Chaturvedi, Dr. Mohinder Singh, Vijay Bhatkar and so on. The third was organised by Biswadebji at Santhiniketan, West Bengal, the World famous University established by Tagore, the first Asian to win a Nobel Prize.
