WORLD OZON DAY- SEPTEMBER=16 ലോക   ഓസോൺ   ഡേ Every year September 16 is marked as the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. On December 19, 2000, the United Nations General Assembly designated the day in remembrance of the date in 1987 when nations signed the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.The ozone layer, a delicate layer of gas, shields the Earth from the harmful rays of the sun. The celebrations are also known as World Ozone Day. According to the United Nations, the theme for this year, 32 Years and Healing, celebrates over three decades of international cooperation to protect the ozone layer and the climate under the Montreal Protocol. The Montreal Protocol has led to the phase-out of 99 percent of ozone-depleting chemicals in refrigerators, air-cooling systems and other products. WORLD HINDI DAY AND NATIONAL HINDI DIWAS World Hindi Day is celebrated on January 10 every year. National Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on September 14. On that day in 1949, the constituent assembly adopted Hindi, written in Devanagari script, as the official language of the Union. World Hindi Day is celebrated on January 10 every year, marking the anniversary of first World Hindi Conference which was held in 1975 by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.Since 1975, the World Hindi Conference has been organised in different countries like India, Mauritius, United Kingdom, Trinidad and Tobago, United States.World Hindi Day and National Hindi Diwas are completely different. PROF. JOHN KURAKAR'S VALEDICTORY SPEECH OF U.R.I YOUTH ASSEMBLY August 24, 2019, was the URI Youth Assembly at Karickam International Public School (a URI Cooperation Circle, or member organization, in Kottarakkara, Kerala, India). In addition to the young people gathered there, around 200 delegates from various URI Cooperation Circles attended. Hari Sankar IPS (District Superintendent of Police) inaugurated the program. Reni. K. Jacob (Director, Justice and Peace Mission, Chennai) gave the keynote address on the theme "Violence and Extremism”.
